Convenient toolbox size 3/4" wide! Narrowest most sleek marker sold today! Useful for installing deadbolt and door locks with marking spots for edge bore on 1 3/8 or 1 3/4 thick doors and marking spots for 2 3/8" and 2 3/4" backset.

This tool provides an easy way to make sure your installations are "almost perfect" however we always recommend checking your marks with a tape measure prior to using. Some "oddball" door thicknesses or how the door is built can greatly affect the centerline of the latch with this tool.

Yes, yes you can certainly go 3D print you one of these, or even make your own from 3/4" steel and a bender. It's just a bent piece of metal with marks on it.
oooorrrrr (hear me out) Purchase one or two from us (one is none, two is a little better, right?) and it helps support future more complicated gizmos and things for locksmiths to fiddle with and bitch about right?
Hey wait there are already products like this! The ones currently being sold are too wide for the current range of plastic boxes I keep my tools in. Unneccessarily so, so we made this one less wide. Others appear to be discontinued. We hope this can at least be a source but again feel free to grab a stick of metal & cut and bend it to size :) It's a great tool to have in your toolbox.
Will I get a sticker or something? Actually yes, you are donating to the channel when you make this purchase so we always try to include some kinda extra bling with purchases shipped from us. *looks over at my dwindling sticker pile & sighs*
No frills, no stamping (it makes them cost more but we will occasionally have "special editions") you watch the "how to video" and go drill holes.
